National Glaucoma Symposium Cape Cod - July 27-29, 2019 - Brewster, MA
Join the Tradition! The 16th Annual National Glaucoma Symposium will be held at the beautiful Ocean Edge Resort on Cape Cod in Brewster, Massachusetts.
Speakers this year are: Jason Bacharach, MD: North Bay Eye Associates, Petaluma, CA; Mitch Ibach, OD: Vance Thompson Vision, Sioux Falls, SD; Justin Schweitzer, OD: Vance Thompson Vision, Sioux Falls, SD; J. James Thimons, OD: Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut, Fairfield, CT; and Valerie Trubnik, MD: Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island, Lynbrook, NY.
The program offers a total of 19 hours of CE. Lectures take place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings from 8:40-12:30, with optional Early Riser CE sessions from 7:30-8:20 on all three days and afternoon sessions on Saturday and Sunday.
All courses are now COPE and Florida approved; the program has been subimitted to the Texas Board of Optometry for approval.
GLAUCOMA WET LAB SESSION C IS NOW FULL. THERE IS LIMITED SPACE IN THE GLAUCOMA WET LAB SESSION A, SUNDAY GENERAL SESSION AND THE SUNDAY LUNCH & LEARN.
LATE FEES HAVE NOW BEEN ADDED TO ALL SESSIONS.
Please Note: The Early Riser lectures will take place in the main lecture hall on Saturday, Sunday and Monday this year to accommodate more attendees. As a result, access to the main lecture hall from 7:30-8:20 will be limited to attendees registered for the Early Riser CE so as not to disrupt the lectures.There will be tables for breakfast in both the upstairs and downstairs exhibit areas. The general session lectures will start at 8:40 a.m. each day.
There is a beach bonfire and marshmallow roast Saturday night on the Ocean Edge beach (weather permitting). This is open to all conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and their families free of charge.
The full schedule is listed below, after the registration options. Please note: All one-hour courses will be 50 minutes in length; due to limitations of our website, which only accommodates 15-minute increments, some courses are listed as 45 minutes and other as 60 minutes.
Conference registration for the three mornings of lectures from 8:40-12:30 is $425 through June 15 and $475 from June 16 through July 26. Rates for Full members of the National Glaucoma Society are $395 Early Bird and $450 regular. One-day rates for the morning lectures are $150 Early Bird and $165 regular ($135 and $150 for Full Members of the National Glaucoma Society). Separate fees apply for the Early Riser lectures from 7:30-8:20 each morning, Lunch & Learn sessions on Saturday and Sunday, and the Surgical Wet Lab Saturday. After July 22, a late fee will be added to all CE, if space is available. We cannot guarantee walk-in registration. This conference has sold out in prior years.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received by July 22 can receive a refund, less a $25 processing fee, or apply the full registration to a future program. Cancellations received after July 22 can receive a credit of the full registration fee toward a future conference. Please cancel in writing by fax (978-470-4520) or e-mail (info@nationalglaucomasociety.org). No credit will be given for leaving early or canceling sessions once the conference begins.
