The Ocean Edge Resort is located on historic Route 6A in Brewster, Massachusetts. The resort's 400 acres includes a PGA championship golf course, several tennis courts, three outdoor pools, two indoor pools, and three restaurants.

The property also has a spectacular private beach with warm water and gentle surf that is perfect for families. Bicycle rentals are available on property to enjoy the 26-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail that winds through the Ocean Edge Resort on its way through Nickerson State Park in Brewster to the National Seashore in Wellfleet. Kayaks and stand-up paddle boards available on Blueberry Pond, behind Britterige Villas on the golf course side of the property. The Beach Bar offers a great place for lunch or drinks on the beach. The Beach House Spa provides a full range of spa services.

A special conference rate of $370 per night is available for one-bedroom villas on the golf course side of the property and $509 for renovated hotel rooms on the mansion side of the property. These rates are subject to tax plus a resort fee. The conference rate will be honored for three days before and three days after the conference, based on availability.

Call the hotel directly by telephone at 800-343-6074 or e-mail at stay@oceanedge.com to make room reservations (reservations at the conference rate cannot be made on the Ocean Edge website). Identify yourself as part of the National Glaucoma Symposium. The conference rate is available until June 18, 2021 or until the block is sold out, whichever comes first. Once the block is filled, reservations will be taken on a space-available basis at regular retail rates. 

Upscale hotel rooms with a king bed and sleep sofa or two double beds are located adjacent to the Mansion, with a pool and tennis courts nearby and just a short walk to the beach.

Spacious one-bedroom villas are nestled along the golf course, near pools, tennis courts, and restaurants. Each villa has a separate bedroom with a queen-size bed, living room with sleep sofa, and a full kitchen. There is a complimentary shuttle to bring you to the beach, the Mansion or any other locations around the resort. (The Ocean Edge website indicates that villas do not have beach access; however, guests who reserve a villa in our room block will be given cards to access the beach and all pools.) Please note: If you reserve a villa outside of our conference room block, you may not have access to the private beach or other resort amenities. 

Ocean Edge cancellation policy: Reservations must be cancelled for the Villas and the Hotel rooms in our room block at least 31 days prior to arrival in order to receive a refund of the deposit. For cancellations or reductions in length of stay made within 30 days of arrival, guests are responsible for the full cost of their stay. Consider obtaining travel insurance to protect yourself from unforeseen circumstances that might require you to cancel your Ocean Edge reservation. 

The resort offers special family and children's activities during the summer, including EdgeVenture Camp (half-day and full-day programs), Kid's Night Out from 6-9 pm on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and daily activities such as crafts, scavenger hunts, bike tours and sand castle building. Advance registration is recommended for EdgeVenture Camp; special arrangements can be made for an early start to the camp to coincide with the conference schedule. Activities abound on Cape Cod both on the water (deep sea fishing, whale watches, pirate ships, seal watching) and off (miniature golf, nature trails, art galleries, Cape Cod Baseball League games).
