LaJolla, CA. The National Glaucoma Symposium comes to the West Coast! Join us in delightful Southern California for up to 15 hours of CE by nationally recognized speakers in the field of glaucoma. The conference will start Friday afternoon, July 8 with four hours of CE, followed by four hours Saturday morning and Sunday morning. There is an optional Wet Lab on Saturday afternoon from 1:30-4:30. Bring your family and enjoy the San Diego beaches, shopping, restaurants and parks. A three-hour COPE-approved workshop that includes information and first-hand experience using essential technologies for glaucoma management. After a short review of diagnostic principles, participants will rotate through 7 stations featuring various technologies specifically for the management of glaucoma, including nerve fiber analysis (GDx, OCT3, RTA, HRT) as well as visual field analysis, pachymetry/tonometry, and gonioscopy. Several of the conference faculty will be present to discuss the applications of each technology; they will also be available as “patients” so that participants can focus on the clinical side of the instrumentation.
