Yoga as Adjunct Glaucoma Therapy

A small, randomized study in the Journal of Glaucoma found that glaucoma patients who participated in daily yoga and deep breathing classes for six months realized a nearly 6 mm Hg drop in IOP over a control group, suggesting that yoga and deep breathing may be beneficial as an adjunct therapy to medications for primary open angle glaucoma patients.
