posted by: Janet Swartz, EdD

Another great National Glaucoma Symposium! The 14th annual program on Cape Cod and the feedback was among the best yet! Dr. Nate Lighthizer, Dr. Rob Noecker, Dr. Brad Sutton and Dr. Jim Thimons presented clinically useful information and engaging lectures. Here is some of the feedback we received about the program.

A sample of the emails we received after the conference:
--I wanted to thank you for a great conference this past weekend. I enjoyed all of the lecture topics along with a beautiful venue. The lecturers were top notch. Already looking forward to next year. Alan B. Schlussel,O.D., F.A.A.O
--Thank you. It was a great learning experience, in a wonderful location. I think I'll be making this a yearly trip! New York OD .

Here are some comments on the course evaluation forms:
--Incredibly useful information that will immediately effect my management of patients tomorrow!
--Great stuff and great cases for thought.
--Great lectures and great delivery! Stayed interesting!
--Great lecture, engaging lecturer with info that will be very helpful in private practice setting!

And here is a posting to the Connecticut Association of Optometrists listserv:
Just returned from the Cape and the National Glaucoma Symposium, Moderated by Dr. Jim Thimons. Every year I ask myself how much more can I learn about Glaucoma and every year I leave feeling reinvigorated and excited by the newest cutting edge knowledge I've gained. The presenting doctors this year were all out standing. Our own Jim Thimons, served as both moderator and presenter, his partners Rob Noecker and Eric Conley, a young new star Nathan Lighthizer and Brad Sutton were all amazing. I learned something from every session I attended and it was also nice to see many friends from CT. Amazing meeting and for me it has become an annual must attend meeting for me to remain on top of my glaucoma knowledge. Dr. Donald J Higgins, Diplomate, American Board of Optometry.

Join us next year! July 28-30, 2018
