National Glaucoma Symposium Cape Cod - July 28-30, 2018 - Brewster, MA

The 15th Annual National Glaucoma Symposium will be held at the beautiful Ocean Edge Resort on Cape Cod in Brewster, Massachusetts.

Speakers this year are:  John Berdahl, MD: Glaucoma Surgeon, Vance Thompson Vision, Sioux Falls, SD;  Eric Conley, OD: Clinical Director, TLC Laser Vision, Fairfield, CT;  Mark Dunbar, OD: Director of Optometric Services, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Miami, FL; Steven Sarkisin, Jr., MD: Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology, University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Oklahoma City, OK; J. James Thimons, OD: Medical Director, Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut and Chairman, National Glaucoma Society. 

Lectures take place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings from 8:30-12:30, with optional Early Riser CE sessions from 7:30-8:20 on all three days and afternoon sessions on Saturday and Sunday.  All courses are COPE approved and approved by the Florida Board of Optometry. Courses have been submitted to the Texas Board of Optometry for approval at their next meeting.

THE GLAUCOMA WET LAB SESSION C IS NOW FULL.  Space is still available in the Wet Lab Sessions A and B. 

EARLY RISER CE ON SATURDAY  AND SUNDAY ARE NOW FULL. THERE IS VERY LIMITED SPACE IN THE MONDAY EARLY RISER SESSION.

LATE FEES HAVE BEEN ADDED TO ALL SESSIONS. 

There is a a beach bonfire and marshmallow roast Saturday night (weather permitting).

 The full schedule is listed below at the bottom of this page, below the registration options. (Please note: All one-hour courses will be 50 minutes in length; due to limitations of our website, which only accommodates 15-minute increments, some courses are listed as 45 minutes and other as 60 minutes.) 

Conference registration for the three mornings of lectures from 8:30-12:30 is $425 through June 15 and $475 from June 16 through July 27. Rates for Full members of the National Glaucoma Society are $395 Early Bird and $450 regular. One-day rates for the morning lectures are $150 Early Bird and $165 regular ($135 and $150 for Full Members of the National Glaucoma Society).  Separate fees apply for the Early Riser lectures from 7:30-8:20 each morning and Lunch & Learn sessions on Saturday and Sunday ($35 Early Bird and $45 regular). Registration for the hands-on Wet Lab Saturday is $85.  After July 23, a late fee will be added to all CE, if space is available.  We cannot guarantee walk-in registration.  This conference has sold out in prior years. 

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received by July 23 can receive a refund, less a $25 processing fee, or apply the full registration to a future program.  Cancellations received after July 23 can receive a credit of the full registration fee toward a future conference.  Please cancel in writing by fax (978-470-4520) or e-mail (info@nationalglaucomasociety.org).  No credit will be given for leaving early or canceling sessions once the conference begins.
